Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    10 minutes till Tom Brady.

Russell not screwing up is pretty unlikely though! He's gonna have Merriman running at him all night, picturing tila tequilas face under his helmet.

I will say, if Asamoghua is healthy enough to play as well as he usually does it could be closer than people think.

Some of the short timing routes aren't hitting properly for the Patriots, but Maroney's having an excellent drive after supposedly being dropped to third team on the depth chart (as if the Patriots ever stuck to a depth chart).

    :D

Maroney running well. Great block by Watson on the 10 yard gain.

Gostgowski 41 yarder wide right!

No worries, that miss will just spur them on. They will eat the Bills now. ;)

He's up and walking though. We can't lose him.

TD Bills. Edwards to TE Nelson. 7-0.

3 and out for the Pats. Bills looking good, getting pressure from the front, and if Brady can't hit the underneath throws then they're not going to be troubled in their zone thing.

Yeah I'm getting worried again about that line, Seabass isn't ready yet and I've alway felt we need to bring in somebody since the middle of last season.

Is there any streams on for this game?

    thanks,

    LR.

Great completions to Faulk and Moss.

    Nice drive going.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,930 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Fantastic drive there. I just loved every moment of that. And nice to see Fred Taylor get off the mark there too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,142 ✭✭✭Karlusss

Touchdown Patriots, Fred Taylor from the 1 after a reception by Welker to set it up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

Patriots touchdown! Fred Taylor's first TD as a Patriot!

Nice to see Brady and Welker connect second time around after the incomplete screen.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,066 ✭✭✭Sea Devils

Great drive by the Pats, Glad to see Fred Taylor punch it in.

Leigh Bodden's hitting hard at corner. Breaking up some potentially big pass plays.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,272 ✭✭✭✭Max Power1

brady picked off for a td

    Aaron schobel

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

    Cracking hit by Bodden.

    Lets get another drive Tom!

    Scratch that.

    Brady picked off, touchdown Bills.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,066 ✭✭✭Sea Devils

Some INT by Schobel. Bills D has been much better with him in the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,142 ✭✭✭Karlusss

Great play by Schobel, great awareness and athleticism, and he outran the pursuit as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,930 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Welker starting to heat up now. The pick six was excellent, credit to Schobel.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,272 ✭✭✭✭Max Power1

brady making some plays, but looking rusty. The last play he wouold have ran it in a year ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,142 ✭✭✭Karlusss

If he sold the run, he had the tight end, and if he sold the pass to the tight end he could've run it. Galloway was never going to catch that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,272 ✭✭✭✭Max Power1

come on, go for it on fourth!

Edit - they kicked the field goal. 14-10 bills at halftime

Ya that made me mad. Im all for safety but thats just taking the piss. might as well play flag football if thats how they are going to call it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,142 ✭✭✭Karlusss

Everyone always says "they're taking TO away", "double coverage" etc... surely teams take Randy Moss away as well, and he's still got 8 receptions for 115 yards.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

13 play drive there, Brady looking great. Incomplete to Welker on 4th down. Bills ball.

i dont see how it was low tbh! Anyone no point crying over spilt milk!

Pats fail to convert on 4th and2 in the bills half, turning down a 53yrd field goal attempt. Tight coverage on the outside by buffalo

Another turnover the Pats 3rd of the day so far.

And that was a terrible call on Willfork hopfully it doesn't hold up throughout the season

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,145 ✭✭✭Lands Leaving

You have to think they only made that call because it's Bradys first game back and the refs were told to make sure no one does any low tackles. The patriots probably didn't expect one of their players would be called up for it!

Still a little early to panic but I'd like to see 'Brady to Moss..........Touchdown New England!' on this drive.

The one thing that is really annoying me in the commentary is all the rubbish they saying about Brady's knee, its like everytime a pass is incomplete they talk about him not being over the knee injury, so fcuking annoying. Excuse my french.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 306 ✭✭Hynzie

gotta get me some of those wonder hangers!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,142 ✭✭✭Karlusss

    !

Was that a tug at the knee brace?

Sell all your stocks in the Pats.

Yeah. They are losing because they lost ronaldo. Oh wait, sorry wrong sporting cliche.
Anyway it's ESPN, there commentary was never great although they appeared to get rid of the wise cracking guy whose purpose I never quite got.

Oh dear God yeah, I forgot about Kornheiser. I was wondering why I was finding MNF enjoyable instead of headache-inducing.

lol OFFENSIVE pass interference against TO?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,145 ✭✭✭Lands Leaving

Watching Edwards really makes you appreciate how good Brady is, he never looks rushed, always seems to have loads of time to make a pass. Edwards on the other hand, makes me think I've hit fast forward

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,272 ✭✭✭✭Max Power1

no WAY was that roughing the passer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

No idea what to make of that call!

    Bills getting close to endzone.

  • Registered Users Posts: 258 ✭✭HeartOfTheCity

Never ever ever ever a personal foul. Ever.
