Does anyone know of a business in Co. Limerick/Cork where you can bring in someting to be vacumn packed.

I know butchers/abbatoirs vacum pack food as do a lot of food providers but I've a family member looking to get clay vacum packed for a project in college.

Even a pointer in the general direction would be welcome

Buy a good quality plastic bag or sack, a good bit bigger than the item.
    Put item in bag.
Use vacuum cleaner to suck air out.
Twist bag and tie to seal.

Yes, seriously. It takes a few goes to get the hang of it, but I've used this for compacting and bagging stores of various sorts for years. The main drawback is it's difficult to get a really airtight seal on the bag, so the air leaks back in after a few weeks.
