Converting Antique Chair to Rocker

Is it possible to convert any type of chair to a rocker/glider chair? I have an old solid oak armchair that would need a little TLC and was hoping to make more use of it - would be great as nursery chair! any suggestions on how this / if this could be done? Or any advice on who I could talk to? any help much appreciated.…

could probably try make a set of curved rails for it that you could attach to the legs to make it into a rocker. with out seeing it i wouldnt know wheter it would be possible or not but shouldnt be too difficult
