Terry is banning cherryghost for that? I dont see how cherryghost posting that makes him racist. FFS is after hours, I thought anything went here? (within reason). If bashing gingers in a light hearted manner makes someone racist, and they get banned for it, then anybody who makes bashes the polish, travelers, English, French, German, Roma gypsies...... should also be banned.

Nowhere in the op's post was it mentioned that they didnt like gingers so why it it being assumed that the op does?

That was posted yesterday evening and it still says "registered user" under cherryghost's name so they weren't banned.

Also, Terry was illustrating the similarity between hating someone for their skin colour and hating them because of their hair colour. Two things that are a natural biological trait of some peoples' appearances, regardless of what nationality they are. i.e. the most stupid and ignorant form of racism.

Albeit, "racism" is not the best way to describe hatred because of someones hair colour

I agree with what you are saying, but hate is a very strong word. The op doesnt mention anything about not liking gingers, or HATING them.

I dont hate gingers, im not racist towards gingers, but reading that article also reminded me of south park because of the large gathering of ginger people. That doesnt make me a racist. Typing that last line, all that was going through my head was a quote from father ted "I hear you are a racist now father?" I dont see how that is any different from the article reminding me and the op of south park
