Deleted File off USB key can i retrieve

    Deleted a folder by accident that is really important ( Xcel and Word Docs)

    Can i retrieve it using some software??

    Yes, this great (free) program scans and lets you restore files - just search by name.

    When you deleted the folder was it deleted to the Recycle bin?
    Have you checked the recycle bin for the folder in question?
    If it is still in the recycle bin the usb key would need to be attached for the folder to be restored.

    No problem, this works for Recycled Items as well as SHIFT + Delete items (that skip the Recycle Bin).

    Stuff on a removable drive doesn't get sent to the windows recycle bin.

    If you show hidden and system files in folder options on the usb key, you can see a recycled bin folder which might have the files in it still...
