Opinions on BeOne Storm 2009?

Hi folks, have been looking for a <€1000 road bike for a while and the BeOne Storm 2009 looks like a good deal. Pros: Very good value for full 105 group. Decent components all round (the BeOne site shows Richey finishing kit rather than Kalloy). Good review on BikeRadar. Cons: Standard 53/39 and 12/25 ratios a bit steep…

Pros:
Very good value for full 105 group.
Decent components all round (the BeOne site shows Richey finishing kit rather than Kalloy).
Good review on BikeRadar.

Cons:
Standard 53/39 and 12/25 ratios a bit steep for someone coming from an MTB commuter?
BeOne is fairly unknown / reputation?
How much assembly is required on CRC bikes?

Does anyone here have this actual model, comments etc.? Thanks.

gear ratios put me off in the end (and decided to up my budget to focus cayo, common as muck now)
astramonti used to have one (think he's on a planet x now)

wouldnt woory about beone reputation, rode with a guy aon a cheaper one a few weeks ago he was very happy (which he bought for about £350)

Thanks, my forum searches didn't work for some reason. The Cayo is a beauty, but I don't think I can afford/justify the €300 extra. The other alu framed, carbon fork, 105 group bikes seem to be sold out or over €1000, and at that price it would make more sense just to get the Cayo.

I'd really like to keep the cost below €1000, so the Storm looks like a decent bet.
