RTE panel tearing the team apart and specifically the style of play

whose on the bench for Ireland ?

McGeady should be good against tired legs. Folan is on the bench though I think there are fitness issues there? He'd suit our current style though. Gibson on there as well. Decent passer, decent shot. So nothing special there but certainly players who might make a difference as fresh pairs of legs.

I think Dunphy is right. Trap is no idiot so the only explanation for me is that he doesn't rate his players. Pity.

Why didn't Hunt play it back? He was never scoring from that angle.

Whelan wouldn't get in that Cyprus team, yet he starts for us. FFS.

Ha George ran out of credit for a bit

Severe lack of passion and determination from our lads out there and it's really disappointing to see. Noone's charging around, hounding down the Cypriots. If half of our players picked up the the tempo and really wanted it, we could put this game out of reach.

Shame really. Where's Roy Keane when ya need him!

well, the way we play, when we have the ball we dont seem to need centre midfielders...or to be more precise don't want to use them

    This is awful

As said before, give the ball to Duff. He's looking the most dangerous

eh most of our players wouldn't get into the cyprus team. It really is about time people stopped deludding themsevles into acutally thinking Ireland are good.

Take whelan off and bring McGeady on. No centre midfield for us anyway so may as well let the wing men work together.
