    Samsung series 6 40" LED full HD TV. Simply stunning (ahead of the rest) when you run the PS3, the pc, the TV and the 5.1 surround sound thru it.
    4 HDMI ports - Thickness is thinner than a pack of cigs on it's back. Simply awesome.

    1200 in two years and you were working your ass off?! You must be a pretty crap coffee bean picker or generally live in a place like Chad.

    Just another thought, if you worked your ass off, you must be right down to the bone!

    I lost my job and haven't been able to get another one. As a direct result of this, I had to move out of my house into a dingy apartment. I also haven't got enough money to pay my college fees this year, and am totally depending on the grant, which they may not give me because my mother lives in California.

    I'd get a PS3.

    AH = Request denied.

    You're going to spend it on your room?? To be sure that it is a worthwhile investment, ask yourself who actually even sees it? If the answer to that is just yourself and your mother when shes dropping in your washed clothes... then I shouldnt bother.

    However, if you do insist, just dont go spending it all on Man Utd related crap ;)

    Material things are just a distraction, bread and circuses and all that. All i need is my health, friends and family. And my loyal doggie Boo.

    Cute, but what happens when Boo gets a little flue but it turns out to be doggie cancer and you cant afford the treatment to get him fixed or to get him put down and you have to take him round back and finish the job with a shovel?

    I hate people who say things like "I dont give a shoite about money" ...

    You don't need to do up your room - donate the money to the next After Hours beers instead.

    I'm in a similar boat, except I didn't really work for it :D

    Planning on buying a 42" tv, trip to Amsterdam, HiFi Amp and a camera lens. Should be set for a while after that :pac:

    Just reading between the lines here but what I think Caoimhín means is that money is just a means to an end ie ,we all need it but how much is to much /to little ? As somebody who has collected his fair share of possession over the years ,they do eventually ,many of them , become a burden .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 286 ✭✭Griffen262

    OP, Are you by any chance a teacher or doctor or a "developer"..ohh sorry i mean criminal!! :p
