    Hi,

    Does anyone know of a decent, popular cad software that I could use to design something to enter into the BT young scientist? (preferably free software)

    Autocad (industry standard but not free)
    Google Sketchup (simple, free)
    Blender (free, but has learning curve, more for 3D modeling)
