Is there some place on AIB internet banking where i can check the limit which is on my credit card?

Nope, and they normally wont tell you on the phone either, only place to see it is on the printed statements.

Hmmm, you might see it if you have eStatements.

Reason it aint there is that they sometimes used it as a security question...
