Setting up a AOEII lan without internet.

Me and my housemates are big AOEII fans, but we do not have internet. How would we go about setting up a multiplayer game without internet. Is it straight forward?

if i remember correctly(i don't have the game beside me), you can just select tcp/ip from the main menu? maybe under multiplayer...just avoid the msn gaming zone options and there should be some lan ones there
