Bambu - Thai Restraunt, O'Connell Street Limerick

    Just want to let ye know about the deals that Bambu Thai Restraunt on O'Connell Street in Limerick (Upstairs from the Texas Steakhouse)

    They are doing main courses at lunch time for €5.95. Admitidly, it does not include Rice or noodles, but even after adding these in, it is still only about €7.50.

    But the thing that makes it a realk bargin is that the food is simply superb. Really really top notch. If you got the same food in a restruant on a Saturday night for €20, you would be delighted with it.

    Couldn't reccomend the place highly enough.

    the absolute hotel is doing a lunch for a fiver deal too, Portions arent massive but just right for lunch time and its really nice.

    Stir fry
    Chicken breast and mash
    Fish and chips

    etc

    Yep +1 for Bambu, haven't been there myself, but a friend of mine says its excellent. They've been a few times. Probably best value in Limerick city for lunch.
