    Does anyone know when the society training is on this weekend? And while we're on the subject, what happens at it?!

    Its on this sunday the 6 of sept
    not sure what to expect but was told its just rules etc.

    The attachment was sent this morning with the specifics. All day sunday, starting at 930-10am.

    These things don't change much year to year. So it'll basically be..

    Good idea: running a successful society
    Bad idea: running a successful society into the ground.

    Good idea: holding a welcome party that's 'da bomb'.
    Bad idea: holding a welcome party that gets evacuated due to a bomb scare.

    Good idea: having an alcohol licence to refresh your members.
    Bad idea: breaking your alcohol licence and spending the next 3 years in prison.

    With a smattering of..If your society gets in trouble all eyes are on the auditor. So don't **** around!!

    small socs just need an auditor there.
    medium socs should have auditor & treasurer there.
    HUGE socs should have auditor, vice-auditor type person & treasurer.

    bring something to write on. they don't put this stuff up on blackboard!
