    Hey guys,
I was in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago and got very drunk one night. I fear that I might have been fined by a policeman (I vaguely remember talking to one). I lost any documentation if I did get fined though.

How can I find out if I did get fined because I wouldn't want to leave it outstanding?
This is a personal issue btw because I DO NOT want to leave a fine in an EU country outstanding and I don't know how to find out.

    Thanks.

If it was just for acting the maggot while your were pissed,Id say its a safe enough bet the Spanish police have encountered this once or twice before so I doubt you will have to worry about Interpol coming looking for you.

As to your question, have you tried speaking to someone in the Spanish Embassey?

They might be able to point you in the right direction.

However if its for something as minor as that,I reckon its possible they might laugh at you aswell.

Similar: I left France a few years ago about €40 overdrawn on a bank account. Should I care?

They are usually "On the spot fines" and at the discretion of the police officer so you probably paid it :D

My cousin was arrested in cyprus last summer (for being drunk and disorderly) and nothing came of it so tis a safe bet nothing will come of your indescretion
