Timing Belt Replacement cost

    I have a 03 focus and need to get timing belt replaced can anyone tell roughly cost i've just been quoted 450 which i thought wasa bit steep and i havent got this kinda money to spare and surely wont if my belt goes any info greatly appreciated

    have a Citroen Xsara picasso, and was quoted E337 yesterday for timing belt and one or two other tiny jobs

    I called about 10 ford garages for a quote for a timming belt (focus) 2 months ago and the cheapest I got was €350 (dearest being €950). Then I rang around a few local indi garages for a quote including water pump + labour and was quoted €350. I ended up paying €330 as the girl quoted incorrectly, I sh/t you not. ;)

    What mileage is on it? there not due on focuses till 100000 miles or 10 years
