anyone get their 3g modem to work with the fancy vodafone DSL modem, it says in the instructions that you just plug it in, but when i tried it the modem was detected as a hard drive

The modem is detected as a hard drive and then autorun should kick in and begin to install the software needed for the modem to run. Then you're up and running.

Do you not get any autorun?

thats what happens when you plug it into a pc,

i plugged my 3g modem into a fancy DSL + 3G combo router, but that only detected the connection of a hard drive
