    I tihnk they had something in their big stores on new years day alright, cant remember the exact offer tho.

    It was the 30% off all electricals offer that was on New Years day, not in clubpoints but in cold hard cash! I'd say if they do a similar offer again it will be in clubpoints so you'll have to spend it there:(

    Someone over at the link posted by OP bought one for £299.99. So it's confirmed. That's about €260!

    Just checked with local Gamestop and they have a couple going for €299.99, and a console + 3 games bundle for €380 (I think).

    Well, not sure about here in the republic, but as per OP's thread, its selling for £229 in Tesco, Toys R US etc in the UK.

    So anyone in Tesco today?

    Gamestop is top of my list at the moment - a Ps3 slim and any preowned game for 299. The preowned game could be worth up to 55 euro so not bad at all.
    Might go for prototype.

    I meant to say its £229.99 in the UK, which is about €260. It would be cool if Tesco brings it here for €259 or €269 even. Here's hoping! :o

    or use them in the clubcard deals where there's lots of good value to be had

    They don't have any PS3 consoles in Mahon, Jaytee-I was there earlier. Offer in Game was 299 with nowt else included, same with Smyths.:)

    Did Y'all miss the great Gamestop rip off?
    Buy 10 of the games on there trade in list for €15 each from Smyths or were ever. Hand them into Gamestop and get €300 credit towards a pre ordered PS3 slim:) Got mine yesterday, ye can hardly notice it beside the 42".....
