should of registered before the deadline. im pretty sure you will have to pay the 250 fine. when it comes to gettin money out of students, gmit is first class. A perfect example is the student village deposit.

I did register before the deadline! WTF?!:mad: I can't afford to pay a stupid fine. They only sent me out the €30 repeat invoice a week before the exams. Why wasn't the €250 included on that? They won't be getting that money out of me if I can help it.

Anyone else in the same boat?

The student village deposit is nothing to do with GMIT (as in they do not get the money, they do not own Glasan!).

Its unlikely that registration late fees are being issued yet, the 280 is more than likely your 30 euro repeat fee and the late fee for repeat exam reg, if you think this is incorrect call the exams office. Don't just not pay as that will just end up in further hassle down the line! It could be that your payment of 30 euro hasn't been matched automatically (you did pay I assume), this has triggered a late fee so the 30 euro payment needs to be traced manually, they may need the receipt from teh bank payment you made.
