    Aldi. Maybe their products just look better. Reassuringly expensive looking.
    Walking through Lidl, garish colours confront you from every shelf.

    Then again, I haven't been to Lidl in a while.

    ordinary people who "think" they're posh shop in Aldi

    whereas ordinary people who couldn't care less shop in Lidl

    lidl is cheaper imo

    That's a fact but a lot of very ordinary stuff too -wish I was like phasers and lived near both

    -a combined shop is the only real solution.

    Why can't this recession end so I can go back to shopping in Superquinn:D

    Lidl by far my Favourite has a lot more products than Aldi, but i also shop in aldi for there big packer of Peanuts for 1.19 and there Maderia cake for 1.79:)


    I prefer their big packer of fudge:)

    Yeah IKEA has a counter for hotdogs,icecream etc I know its not a supermarket but you wont get 2 jumbo hotdogs 2 ice cream cones and 1 regular coke anywhere for 3 euro!

    If i had to choose i would choose aldi for all the cheap brioche yum yum soooooo good and they have vegitarian lables on everything wether you can eat it or not no need to check :P

    i would pick Lidl for better choice of food but Aldi does have the better specials for random stuff
