Get pissed with some of the Heuston junkies, then eat some tree bark! You won't notice the difference!

Petrol stations are your best bet. Does the one by the carpark on the Quays have ice cream? I remember being there at about 0500 before.

24Hr Tesco up the top of Stoneybatter if you fancied a walk.

I think that closes at 11/11.30 - Actually, the petrol station down the road might be 24 hour though.

mm, Dublin forum. But I'll be living near the heuston next year, and people tell me it's a sketchy area... is that true? Should I rush home at nights? (not that I will because I'm a badass)

Ooh, we have the same location! Just backwards. Odd!

Heuston? Bit sketchy at night ... so bring your colouring pencils ;)

It wouldn't be the most pleasant of areas, but then again, it's so central that it's worth it.

Common sense applies, like anywhere in any city :)

Good shctoof, I know at least they sell nice oranges there. I always buy an orange when I'm walking to heuston on a friday... or whenever it is I walk there.

    Success!
FYI The Spar beside the James Joyce Bridge is 24 hour on Thurs Fri and Sat.

The unfortunate news is that they had no Cornettos (gasp!) so I went back to basics with a Choc Ice as well as a can of Coke and a Macaroon Bar (!). Late night walks resulting in sugar = awesome.

Now that some (alot) of you have the taste for Cornettos I invite ye to make your own late night walk in search of that fabled iced snack. Let us know how you get on.
