I want to buy an iPod Touch 8 or 16gb as a present for someone, in Dublin City Centre, not online but in a shop.
Are they the same price everywhere or anyone know of where to buy them cheaper in the city.
If they are the same all over, which shop is the best for after sales service, hopefully I won't need it but ya know..

I bought one in Argos on Saturday... now wish I'd bought somewhere I could chat to a salesperson on it.. I'd ask does it come with os3.0 pre-installed.

From what I've seen price is fixed across the board.

can't help with dublin prices but if you know anyone that's going to the uk you can save 30 euro.
i got the 16g in lpool last week for 250 euro,it's 280 here in argos.it was the same price everywhere so i got it in the apple store...

Ye they are the same price everywhere afaik. If you are a student you can get discount in some places. but thats about it. HMV should do it. I think every shop wants to keep the price the same to avoid going into a price war.
