Downloading large iTunesU videos

I'm going through the process of learning how to develop for the iPhone.
The Stanford University CS class which was specifically tailored for folks wishin to learn iPhone/ObjC/XCode, etc are receiving very good reviews.

Now - here is the deal. My ISP account is the basic home package from Eircom. I live just on the margins of where it is possible to get a 1MB/s service. So my subscription has a cap (I think its 20GB/month.. perhaps 10GB but I think the former). Looking at the size of these videos (500MB a piece on average and 15 or so of them to download). I am wondering basically if Eircom actually are applying the cap on copper/DSL home accounts ?

I definitely don't want to be saddled with some mad "through the roof' charge for trying to simply further my career with stuff which is perfectly legal to download.

I guess this applies more generally. What is the real situation regarding Eircom and home DSL and their published download caps as it currently stands ?

Eircom are fairly good with you if you go over the limit. I wouldn't worry too much. I don't think anyone has been charged, ever, and I even went over by as much as 50gigs one month! On Unlimited Smart now, which has a faster connection, but had no issues with eircom download allowance.
