Wipeout stuck in trial

I bought Wipeout HD an hour ago. Used credit card. Got email with a receipt.

Game downloaded.
Game installed.
Game started.
Game needed an update.
Game updated.
Game started.

And now I find that it's a trial version of the game and says I need to purchase the full game to access campaign etc. I've selected 'purchase game' to see if that prompts it to access my profile and realise I've already paid for it.

But all it says is connecting. It never connects. Left it for 15 minutes. Nada. Turned the PS3 on and off - nada. Still in trial mode.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I sort this out?

Note: There is only one profile on the ps3 and I haven't signed in or out or anything.

did u download a little activation file, i remember something like that when i did mine ?? but i thought it was all automatic..i cant recall exactly,
look at your view downloads in psn, u just mght need install that & should only take 5 seconds
