    is this possible? im trying to free up some space on my laptop and its not working properly so i have to use a different web browser.

    if youre low on space, the 50MB that IE probably amounts to is going to do very little for you.

    Download windirstat and run the scan on your C:\ drive.

    You cannot uninstall IE. The European version of windows 7 will alow you to do this when it comes out, but otherwise, no.

    You can get rid of it by going to Add/Remove Program Files. You'll have to remove the IT updates one by one.

    I wouldn't advise it though. 50MB is nothing. As much as I hate IE, I only like to keep a back up.
