GTA IV how to turn off sat nav voice!?

    does anyone know if its possible to turn off the annoying sat nav voice? and just have the radio on?

    also i cant figure out how to climb a ladder?!

    You can turn it off in the menu somewhere.

    Can you press Y to climb a ladder? It's been a while, so I don't remember.

    thanks robert, ill try find that in the menu later.
    nah Y" doesnt work for ladder. im always getting stuck down on a dock quay with no way up, none of the buttons are working to make an action towards the ladder.

    Y is the get on the ladder button, if it's not working then it's either not a ladder or there's some small glitch.

    yes Y works i figured it out, you have to hold it doen though.
