    Buy it @ Amazon

These are the latest version of the old favourite CX300's which were just launched this summer. Great deal at £14.95 delivered IMO.

You should try the CX500. I've had the CX300 and then bought the CX500 recently (from my memory too) - the CX500 are far superior, wouldn't even consider the CX300s.

what are the new cx300's like compared to the old model? CX300 sound class but only with an adjusted EQ.

bass is the best and worst thing about the old cx300, i cant imagine them getting any bassier without improving other parts of the audio first.... i won't be purchasing anyway because I just found my old cx300's, delighted I didnt buy anything new now!

I've got the CX-300's at the mo and I swear by them,

Has anyone had the chance to compare the CX-300-II and CX-300's ?

Thanks OP, bought 3 pairs, one as a spare for me, and two for my nieces 7y 9y old. (they might be wasted on them?) I have a Sony MDR-EX51 at the moment. Had another Sony Fontopia design type before, can't remenber the model, but I liked them also. So I hope I like the Sennheiser

    (Have wireless Sennheiser headphones also)

I use the CX-300-II with my iPhone and there great I couldn't recommend them highly enough and at that price there a steal.

Seinnheiser are the man when it comes to earphones, had a pair of CX – 300 for the past year, they finally died on me and I got Sony ones off Ibood. Instantly regretted it and order the CX – 300 II yesterday ironically enough off mymemory. Great deal, they cost about 40 quid in HMV and there is no rival when it comes to earphone brands.

I did a bit of research and the CX - 300 II are supposed to be a bit better than their earlier version so looking forward to hearing the difference.

let us know if they sound much better than the old CX300

I have a pair of these (the new ones) that I bought on impulse in a bricks and mortar shop for an extortionate price. That aside, I think the sound is great but the rubbing noise drives me MENTAL. Unless you're sitting like a statue the noise is constant. And if you're wearing earrings that hit off the cord it's practically deafening!

I'm surprised this isn't made a bigger deal of in the reviews, in my opinion it's a HUGE downside.

CX 500's are 21 euro delivered on Play.com

    http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3509717/SennheiserCX500Headphones/ProductReviews.html?cpage=3

    Think I'll go for them.

EDIT: Of course Play won't deliver electronics though - Soz.

Never spent more than €5 on earphones, usually buy deal extreme ones. Going to give these a go though.

Im the same way man, but the last two paira I had were pure crap compared to my creative ones.

Are creative, plain old white ones that come with their flash MP3 players, that good? Or are the crap ones I bought after them actually that crap?

i have the silver creatives they came with my zen. i use a sansa now, but still prefer the creative earphones over those from the sansa.

I cant see why headphones are classified as electronics, i mean theres's no plug, and they're not battery operated so i cant see whats so electronic about them!

Anyone know where to get these for a similar price delivered over here? Seeing as the price differential is about 5€(Or so it would appear from play's price:rolleyes:), might as well get the cx500's

Well the ones from deal extreme are good, great in fact for the €2 they cost. Better than 5.5gen ipod ones. And handy to have as a backup.

Tried those dealextreme one's before not the best at all. Sound is pretty poor out of them.

Anyone know if the sennheiser one's will fit into the 1st gen iphone?
Trying to find a good pair that will actually fit in the stupid narrow jack!!

    Yes there is :p

Just ordered these the last day. Had cheap in-ear 'phones before and they didn't fit too well. Hopefully these are better.

I have the original CX300's since I bought them in 2006. They are the best earphones I have ever used. Very comfortable, and they can take a beating. Mine have been through the wash at least twice and they're still as good as new. These will be a good buy for anyone looking for earphones. I can't justify an upgrade because they are everything I need. I paid €50 for them originally though

Placed an order for these on friday, I've had two pairs of the previous model, paid 40 bills or something silly like that in HMV. A real bargain for less than the cost of a few pints.
