Hey all! I've been in Ireland with my friend for about a week now traveling around trying to experience all the fun in your country. We were in Galway and hit up some clubs which was pretty fun, but we've been trying to recapture the NYC rave experience here and see if you guys REALLY know how to party :P

Everyone I talked to in Galway said Dublin was the Irish party city, so knowing absolutely nothing about the scene there I come to your boards to ask for your assistance. Basically, we want to party/rave our ****ing asses off and want to know where's the best place to get a rave like experience!!

I'm a huge fan of electro so I'd enjoy an electro party the most, but I'd go to any rave as long as it's not just playing dubstep (****ing hate that ****) because I want to actually dance. Help a Yank out!! :D

    Thanks!

well mate, if Electro is your thing then you might want to try our night on the 14th, this Friday at the Cellar, Peadar kearneys. Near the Olympia on Dame Street, centre of Dublin
Full on Electro and Techno from well known Irish DJs, SiSi . They actually operate from Glaway (110th Street Nights) and have been running great parties there and around Ireland for years!

    Just a thought!!

Well its been quite a while since we hosted a party that was in somewhere a little bit different and slighty off the beaten track, as we did so well originally! So i have deceided to take over the Melody Bar on Capel Street and team up with Kurt and the guys from Love Music Hate Racism for a party that on paper and in theory looks like a whole lot of fun and includes some of the closer DJs and friends i have had the joy of playing with over past few years.

If you have not heard of Love Music Hate Racism. Heres a brief description: Love Music Hate Racism is dedicated to the education of people on the threat or racism and fascism, its origins and its prevention, through musically orientated events across the 32 counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We aim to have a network of supporters and members from all walks of life across the country that can put on their own events, and support each other. Also, be able to mobilize against threats like The Immigration Control Platform, BNP and other groups who try to stir up trouble.

So a worthy cause for a killer party we think! The guys will be knocking around the event on the night to spread the word while helping proceedings on the night! So i would like to invite anyone interested in a cheap, worthy and roumor has it a slighty later than normal party!! Please come along and support what has the potential to be a great night out wil a lot of great people!!

Doors open from 9pm with free admission before 10.30
Address is Melody Bar, Capel St Dublin 1, and if you have not been its defianatly worth a look simply for the crazy ammount of lazer lights they have!!

So really hope to see you there, for free passes simply email rubberbandone@gmail.com with the words HATE RACISM

RUBBERBAND & LOVE MUSIC HATE RACISM

haha, ok so Passage heres your itinerary, like it or not.

    Friday:
5pm - Showered, shaved and dressed. Add a nice splash of issey miyake,
Irish girls are mad for that.
6 - 9pm Bernard SHaw drinks. cool spot to start with
9 - 9:15 Ricks burger. Try the half ouncer.
9:15 - 11pm: Stags head for some education on the state of Irish economics.
11 - 12pm: Donato Dizzy @ Kennedys might be nice. Only if guestlist tho. You shouldn't be paying a cent. In fact i want to buy you a pint myself.
12 - 3am: ColorTv for some fine techno - where as it stands 'Passage' is on the guestlist. We'll need a bit more info that that tho.
    3 - 8am: Party tbc

    Saturday (if your alive)
I'd highly recomend the Rubberband gig @ melody bar. Some very good djs playing.

    cheers
    frederic!
