cheapest car hire - murcia

Got a quote from firstcarhire.com to hire a car, ford fiesta, all inclusive, insurance etc, for 14 days in early September, for €267, pick up and drop off at Murcia airport.

Needed my passport number so tracked that down, went to book it and now all of a sudden the price has jumped to €382 WTF?? And I'm putting in pick up time of 18.30 but the website keeps telling me that's out of office hours, even though the office closing for the majority of the rental offices is 23.55.....this is driving me to drink.

I'm trawling through all the different websites at the moment but of course it's taking ages.

Can anyone who has maybe hired a car in that neck of the woods recently point me in the direction of the cheapest place to book? And I mean cheapest, once its got 4 wheels and a steering wheel I'll be happy, it's just a runaround for the couple of weeks.

We paid big money before and the car was held together with gaffer tape.....you certainly don't get what you pay for.
