I've googled "inverse/inverted tattoos" to get some scope of what they're like coz I'm thinking of getting one.

It's gonna be part of a cover up (gonna just black out the whole leg and put the inversely shaded tattoo on the inside calf). That is the skin is going to make up the image and the black is going to be purely shading/background.

Just wondering has anyone here had something done like described? Or just a general how-do-you-feel about them?

I could be wrong but I think these are called negative space tattoo's? Try googling that.

Is that something along the lines of what you were thinking bout?
