Apologies if this is in the wrong forum...

    Hey guys,

Myself and my band are flying over to Stanstead airport tomorrow with Ryanair for a gig in London City. Sharing gear with other bands, we thought we wouldn't need to check our own guitars in and it would save money, however we've been let down by one of the bands who we were getting gear from and we may need to bring one guitar, a snare drum and a bag of cymbals over, and possibly a small amp head, really small, under 6kgs (orange tiny terror for anyone who knows it). We've checked in already tho, which is the problem, does anyone know how much it would cost to book this gear into the baggage compartment? I think we can fit the amp head into a bag so that should be fine as hand luggage, and possibly bring the snare as hand luggage too? So ideally we would only be booking one guitar and the cymbal bag in.

IF anyone could help us out or give us advice at all it would be great as we're really stressed and worried! frown.gif

I dunno how much it will cost, but i'd be putting those cymbals into a case as opposed to a bag. The boys in Dublin Airport are a but heavy handed when it comes to luggage.
