    Nah. The VRT on the first one is €1935, the € price of that one, assuming you get it for £4000, will be about €4800, that's a total of €6735. this one is €7250 pre-bargaining, and you could get it for €6900. Not really worth the saving unless you can bargain the NI dealer way down.

    If you buy a 407 1.6 hdi with around 8k ish ask the garage if the diesel particle filter was replaced as the normally need to be replaced @ around 80-90k.
    Also check lower balljoints as the do need replacement every 30-40k ish.
    other than that the dual mass flywheels can fail at around 100kish.
    But these are failing on most modern diesels today...:rolleyes:

    I get over 54 mpg out of my 407 (1.6 hdi) and there is plenty of power from the 1.6 hdi (dv6) engine....Check out www.407owners.com/forums and you
