just thought id share what some of you mightn't know already, found this a while ago, astroid to hit earth i 2030ish and the name apophis is all over google and youtube!

old news but i haven't heard of it until now!

Asteroid trajectories are impossible to predict with high accuracy. Paper published on impact probability models using this as case study two years ago.

Nothing like a definite maybe for the CT crew though....

That artical says there's a 5500/1 chance that it'll hit. Not spectacular odds. We wont know till 2029 anyway so there's no need to start stockpiling food and water just yet.
