    Hi

Just wondering how to get from blackrock station to Goatstown village. Would the 17 bus be the best or could I just walk up the road somewhere and get another bus? Not very familiar with this part of the city so would appreciate feedback

    Thanks

    Minkey

If you were to get a taxi:

Estimated Fare using meter at 12:28

    Distance: 4.97 km. | Duration: 10 min.

    first kilometer 4.10 €
    4.97 km. x 1.03 € per km (tariff A) 5.12 €
    waiting in traffic (~3 min.) 1.39 €
    Total 10.61 €
on a Sunday it would be 13.01 €

Route 17 sounds like the best idea.

    Hi

OK Thanks, was planning on using public transport rather then taxi. Does anyone know of other routes nearby in case the 17 is not regular?

Not between those two points - you end up needing two or three buses.

Timetable here: http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Your-Journey1/Timetables/All-Timetables/17/ - about every 30 minutes.

    Hi

Thanks Victor, actually would you happen to know is there some online map you can get that has all the bus routes marked out? I would imagine the Dublin bus website should have something like this but it doesn't seem to.
    17 is grand though

Just go down to Blackrock and you can click on the 17.
