JG STEYR AUG Military Scope Problems

    Hi,

Just wondering if anybody would be able to advise on the following.

I recently got a JG STEYR AUG Military airsoft AEG and have had problems zeroing the attached 1.5x scope. I tried adjusting the settings using the included allen key and have been able to get it level on the horizontal axis. The vertical is off the center by a good bit (hitting below the dot), even at short aiming distances indoors (i.e. no wind to effect the bbs target path). Ive also adjusted the hop-up on the gun, but to no avail. Does anyone have experience zeroing this gun or similar models.

    Cheers

At short distances it should be off.

Tecnically, you're sight will only ever be accurate to the projectile at one distance. This is due to the gap between the sight and barrel. Try sighting it at 20m +, that should line up nicely.

There was a known issue with the JG aug scopes having some little spring out of place internally in the scope, give it a good googling and you'll find it.
