Creating slideshow

Hi, I'm looking to create a slideshow (not online) and want the filename to appear on the bottom of the photo as part of the slideshow. I have heaps of photos where the name explains who is in it or what is going on. Is it possible to do this, if so, how? Many thanks :D

Picasa can do that, or possibly Irfanview.

or if you have flash you can make a personalised one in that plenty of tutorials on google
