FAS CE Schemes

Hi all i am new to this and hope someone can help me
I was self employed for 8 years i am now unemployed and signing
for credits, am not getting any payment means tested and wife is
working.

I am signing on for a year now and may get a payment due to a change
in my circumstances.

I recently applied for one of those CE schemes and was told that I had
to be unemployed for 12 months and in receipt of a social welfare payment so I was not "Eligible"

I called FAS again today and told them that I would be getting Job seekers and would I be elgible then, they said no that I would have to be
getting a payment for 12 months.

I applied for these as I am going mad with nothing to do and have good
skills to offer, any advice would be helpful

Life is cruel ,and fas the dole/btea has very harsh rules they trap people to wasting on the dole,
I'm afraid there is loads of skilled people out there going mad on the dole
your NOT special
