What is suitable attire to wear to a removal?

I will be wearing a suit for the funeral and I expected to wear a shirt and slacks to the removal but people are now telling me that the removal is not that formal. Jeans and a collared shirt would be fine.

    What do you think?

    Im in my mid-twenties btw.

Removals tend to be less formal so jeans and a shirt would not be a problem...unless you are part of the imidiate family of course. In that case forget the jeans and wear trousers, shoes, shirt and jacket.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

You wouldn't be expected to wear a suit, but in my opinion trousers would be better than jeans.

Wear something conservative and don't be too casual or silly.
