Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Irish Streets Game

    So here's how it works;

    First poster names a street anywhere on the Island of Ireland, the name of which also contains the name of a city anywhere in the world.
    • All prefixes and suffixes acceptable. e.g. Road, Avenue, Terrace , etc.,
    • Last person to post is the winner
    • No duplications of any city name allowed e.g. London Road and London Street
    • Minimum population of 100,000 to rule out all those tiny American 'cities'
    • Use Wikipedia to adjudicate disputes

    There are a surprisingly large number of available cities out there
    but they are finite and the game will ultimately end.

    So here goes ;

    Seville Place

    Let us therefore say places with more than 100,000 people.

    If I open this up to interpretation I could say Lourdes Rd? Lourdes hasn't got that population, but with over 5million visitors a year I reckon it's sometimes a place with more than 100,000 people. ;)

    Also Monpelier Gardens/Park etc, spelt slightly differently does it count?

    Springfield (D7 and Illinois)

    Gloucester St

    Aberdeen St

    Albany St (ok just less than 100k but capital of NY and famous enough to be included)

    Only has a population of 6299, unlike Bedford town(79190) which also is below the 100,000 threshold required for this game.

    Not a city, its a province.

    Two cities called Ontario but neither are eligible because their populaton isn't big enough.
