Sorry for the late reply. It won't charge through that. They're just little battery packs that fit in the battery compartment of the instruments and there's a separate usb charger.

the battery fits and works in the GHWT drum kit anyway.

in saying that, I charged both of mine via my pc and got a green light on them but when i put it in the drum/guitar, the battery power meter wasnt showing as full, more like 3/4 full.
