Refretting

Hi Just wondering does it cost much to get a neck re-fretted??

Also is it handy to do yourself or just pay a pro to do it??

Also I live in south Dublin, Deansgrange where would be the closest and cheapest place to get this done.

Derrick Nelson in Marlay Park is one of the best in Dublin, let alone the southside. Not sure what the quote would be like, it's gonna vary based on the fretboard wood type, fretwire, whether it has binding etc..

So it's not as simple as just replacing the metal wire..:o

Dave travers charges €120 to fret dress and €200 for refretting..
