I don't think you would get anything for that price here, but have you considered travelling up North perhaps?

If you are in Dublin, try Deborah Joy jewellers in The Square. They have a 50% sale on for 3 days. Not sure when the 3 days ends but I would imagine tomorrow. Great bargains for beautiful rings.

If one jeweller is doing it, I bet others are too.

Alternatively check out Chapelles in Banbridge Outlet centre. Really good value there. Check around and good luck

I got a 3 diamond (princess cut) ring with gold 2 years ago for just slightly over that price. But the princess cut stones are more expensive because you use more stone getting the flat surface (or something like that).

I don't have the small diamonds coming down from the main cluster, but if you were to get the normal cut diamonds with 3 stones, it should be possible for €1000. I'm not sure about the small diamonds, but I'm sure you might be able to find somewhere that does them type.
I don't know what the prices are like in Dublin, but Meath and Wexford were very similar in prices, and a few people have said about going up north for better value either. Maybe you could price locally and then take a trip up?

Def would try up North- must say though as someone who always thought I knew exacty the kind of ring I'd go for- Didn't!!! Those rings didn't suit my finger at all. Maybe your OH has tried on rings though and knows exactly what she wants.
Good Luck with it all- advice- go romantic on proposal- that outshines any ring and gives a great story for her and all her mates. :)
