Hi, Im looking for a image library for C which will let me read the RGB data from JPEG's and save RGB data as a JPEG.

I've tried libjpeg, but I can't get the damn thing working. I've read that its outdated anyway.

Any suggestions for a C library that does image I/O?

Could always open the image and play with the raw data.

Thanks, but will GFL SDK work under regular old C (not C++, I need a library for C).

Intel OpenCV should do what you want, but might be a bit over the top...

How would you "play with" compressed data?

Yeah I wasn't thinking about that, I was thinking of Bitmaps. Ah well.
