Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well it's that time of year again the 4th annual boards photography castle meet. This is your opportunity to photograph and stay in one of the most ornate Neo-Gothic Castles in Ireland. The castle is only open to the public for guided tours but so this weekend is truly special as we have a high level of access not normally given.

Consider this the info pack :)

This year we have a bit of a chnage and hope to have the first boards photography BBQ up at the castle it the weather permits.

As usual numbers are limited to 20 so first 20 to send me their registration will secure places and the rest will be put on the good old waiting list. I'll keep everyone up to date on places as the registrations are processed.

The agreed donation/fee for the weekend has been set at €35 which is payable upon arrival to either myself or designated castle staff all the proceeds go directly towards the castle restoration and upkeep.

All all attendees will be required to register before Saturday 1PM July the 18th late registrations will simply not be accepted as they castle require details to be sent ahead of us arriving.

Please submit your details ASAP as this will be considered your booking confirmation.

if for some reason your plans change and you are unable to make it let me know and i can hand the place over to one of the waiting.

Where exactly will people be sleeping? I see mention of sleeping bags but not tents so is it safe to say it will actually be in the castle?

Also what is the situation regarding spouses going along?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,657 ✭✭✭trishw78

yes in the castle the morning room, you'll have to ask sebzy about spouse's but at a wild guess the answer would be no.

Lift available also from the Waterford - Piltown - Kilkenny area

Yep sleeping in the castle in the morning room.

And as for spouses and girlfriends I'm sorry the only way this might be possible is if we are unable to fill the numbers and there are spare places. Photography boardsies always get priority.

It was mentioned here already few times ago. Would you be interested in buying pack of disposable film cameras, one camera each.
And then you post up to five of your best pictures. And here is the competition. All the same HW, stoopid HW, and the difference is only the eyes.

I was thinking about competition of raw scans and also processed pictures.

    Would you be interested?

And is here somebody VAT registered who could buy those cameras for a little less moeny?
