software to recover deleted photos/videos on mobile?

    hi all,
    My friend has lost some very sentimental photos that were on a Sharp mobile phone, dont have exact model number to hand.
    Any recommendations for software to recover deleted photos/videos from a mobile phone?

    If its one of the newer sharp phones and has a memory card in it, chances are you will get it back. If the phone doesn't have a memory card its a lot more tricky, and if its quite old, the design wont allow it unfortunately.

    Not many sharps were released here, if its the GX10 model dont think that had a memory card, but if its the newer 30 model should be able to do it. Download of some software, and with the memory card connected to the pc it can scan it, or if the phone can go to mass memory.

    a free app called "photorec" also works well...

    If on memory card 'restoration' has worked for me.
