large twin prop plane flying over South Dublin at about 3.35PM?

What type of plane was that that flew over south Dublin at around 3.35PM ? sounded like a DC3 or something else from WW2.

A long shot, might have been an Aztec from Westair doing survey work. Not a big aircraft though. Does sound rather " WW2ish " though.

It was this, a Beech 18. Was in and out of weston.

Not far off, the Model 18 goes back as far as 1937.
