as an american, who did her post graduate work in ireland, i thank you all for the side splitting laughter ya'll gave me from reading this thread.

first, not all americans are fat; i'm round and proud of it.

second, i would kill for irish food again. stout alone would get me to swim across the atlantic if it wasn't so bad economically over there.

third, just remember the grass is always on the other side, and trust me, the grass is greener in ireland.

I've in between thoughts on the mix OverH. I think Americans love to experiment, and while they can be a nice mix... Im not so sure they are great for you... Fizzy / sugar shit= teeth not happy.

I haven't eaten at a Sonic a yet but I do very much love the free refills on soft drinks in any restaurant or cinema, never happen in Ireland (or very little). What a magnificent idea.

edit: Oh yes, I had a small Snickers blizzard in Dairy Queen the other evening and that was good enough for me.

You can get Cherry Coke in the hal-al shop at the top of Moore Street. They also sell a fab pineapple and coconut fizzy drink. Why are there no coconut drinks?
