Eh! Vans down here have never been cheaper. You cant give them away at the moment. Window prices up North are the prices you'll pay for it ( tiny discounts) but window prices in the south can be reduced greatly. Also prices up North can be plus VAT ( which admitedly you dont have to pay if you are VAT reged ) . What type of van are you looking for OP and whats your budget?

Larger vans have lost their value greatly, whereas the smaller vans haven't been as hard hit. Having said that I picked up a 04 Combo for my Dad up North, with everything included - purchase, expenses, & VRT it came to a shade over €2300.

Do you know anyone working for a bank? Maybe sweet talking someone in lending might get you a reposessed van very cheaply. A friend of my dads wanted a loan for a van lately. Wound up with a newer van than expected and a much smaller loan
