You are banned for a week in LL but not here. Right? So why do you limit yourself here now?? Not many people would have known about your ban. So fair play to you for mentioning it. (Well at least I don't follow that thread)
I think you should put your pictures back into this assignment. There are a lot of people (me included) who liked at least one of them. If they now decide they changed their mind they are free to remove their vote. But that to me than would be a decision on you as a person and not on the pic itself. And I think one should decide on the picture not the person. That's me, not remembering right now every single picture you posted

Apologies for taking this slightly off the topic of the post!
Although I do agree with you all in that this has no link to the LL forum, the topic that got me posting there originated from an OP and topic here. So it was very tightly linked imo. And obviously I was debating something completely unrelated to this assignment.
But all in all, there was somewhat a forum cross over, and I feel me getting a ban may not reflect highly on exactly what actually happens in this forum. For that reason I'd rather not be the one starting the next assignment. I've deleted the picture from photobucket at this stage, I can't see me putting it back up. If we do get an influx of photographers resulting from the thread that was started let them join in on an assignment that wasn't started by a banned poster!
On saying that, I may not even have won it (I was only a couple of 'thanks' ahead last check). 0 -

Anyone can post here, and everyone is ALWAYS welcome. That, IMO, is one of the best things about the photography forum - you are not judged for who you are, or where you come from, or for what type of techno gear you have (or what you've done elsewhere). You can be laughed at, but never judged (lol)
You've been an active participant here, become one of the "regulars", so if you win this assignment (not saying you will ) it's because other people think you deserve to win. You can't argue with that! 0 -

/edit: Just read more of the posts there and you are taking your pics down because of what happened in another forum? Really? I don't think people look at the username or care whats behind the username in this forum especially (lol @ irony of the original reason for thread in LL though ) 0 -

The ban can remain, even if I don't agree with it. I won't bother arguing with it. Yeah. I did take them down. Might have seemed rash. And now by doing so I've drawn far far too much attention on myself that I both regret it and most definitely will not put them back up!
I think I might lay low for a while... anyone know someplace quiet? And do they serve beer there?
Edit: and maybe they have a dictionary there too so I can practice my spelling?0
