Anyone know where i can find ferrets in Ireland to keep as pets not for hunting.

Are they even legal here?

I've seen them from time to time in petmania in both Kilkenny and Waterford so I assume they have them in all shops.
I think I'd prefer to find a breeder as i know they can be a bit bitey if not handled right from young age.

Karlog where abouts are you? My local pet store breeds them & has 6 babies at the moment - they are getting heaps of attention & are so much fun to play with. PM me for more details.
