So tell me Francois were you or the guys running the waterfront paying money for the tracks you were spinning back in the 90's........i would be confident to say the ASYLUM & SIDES management wernt anyway:D;)
I'd say any nightclub would almost definitely have to pay for a public performance license (or whatever it's called) especially considering their main purpose is to play music. Bars and Restaurants would be more likely to get away with it, but nonetheless they are obliged to pay it.

Actually, I remember years ago in a place I used to work in the boss stopped us from playing music in the Warehouse as it was open to the public (very rarely mind, just couriers and the like). He's received a letter from IRMA and he wasn't willing to pay the fee.

Plus lads, no need having a go at Kev, it's not his rules.

Here all this balls about Rave tracks being copyrighted.....it says on all copyrights 'No hiring, lending, Public performance etc'......surley all Raves are in breach of copyright when the track is spun at them then which also implies then that nightclubs, bars, restaurants, shopping centres & anywhere that has random tracks being played are aswell.........in reality you aint going to get brought to court over a years old Rave track being shared on a forum but i respect the boards rules & decision.

How much are the ticket's SeanyBoy1?

80 euro including the usual rip off booking fee Al.
I went to see them in The Gleneagles Hotel in Killarney in 93 or 94 I think. Its deffo better to see them in a smaller venue but they were good in Páirc Ui Chaoimh backing up Oasis in 94, actually they were better than Oasis on the day;)

Actually, I wasn't looking for that Nightwriters track I just posted a youtube link to reminisce.

That mix is definitely not from around the time. I don't remember Poltergeist being played when I was going there.

My first Old Skool mix in a long time and on the 3rd attempt ive finished it and i have to say im very pleased with the outcome.

This is the sound of Underground Rave/Hardcore, you wont hear these tunes on some crap Ministry Of Sound (Ministry of Sh*te) compilation who have a tendency to release an old skool CD every other year with the same old tunes on it,cashing in as they do:rolleyes:

Anyway hope you like it, any feedback welcome.
